Kushalnagar, Nov 13: In a head-on collision between Maruthi car and a mini lorry that occurred here at Kodagu on Sunday November 13, three members of same family lost their life.
Prashanth, Revathi and Subbamma of Hebbale village, Somavarapet are the deceased.
They were on their way for a wedding in Sullia. When they reached Koodumagalur, their maruthi 800 hit the mini lorry coming from opposite direction.
Prashanth and Revathi died on the spot. Subbamma and Janardhan were seriously injured in the car. Subbamma died while on the way to hospital and condition of Janardhan is said to be critical and is admitted to a hospital.
Both the vehicles were in over speed. Car driver Prashanth while avoiding a pot hole lost control and hit the mini lorry. A case has been registered in the local police station.
