Udupi: Samata Sainik Dal Stages ‘Bhoomi Chaluvali’ Seeking Title Deeds

Udupi, Nov 13: Samata Sainik Dal staged ‘Bhoomi Chaluvali’ in front of the deputy commissioner’s office on Friday November 11, seeking title deeds to their houses.

Over 5,000 families that were belonging to scheduled tribes, scheduled castes, backward and minority communities were living in houses built on government land since the past 35 years and were so far not issued the title deeds to their dwellings and farmlands.

These families residing in the villages that come under Harady, Cherkady, and Kadoor gram panchayats participated in the Bhoomi Chaluvali on Friday.

Samata Sainik Dal leaders Vishwanat Petri, Manjunat, Babanna, Mahesh, Sasikala, Sunanda, and Baby were present on the occasion.
