Uppala : Three Women Critically Injured by Train Hit

Uppala, Nov 13: Three women were critically injured when Ernadu-Kucchiveli Express Train hit them near Uppala Railway Station here on Sunday, November 13 at 4.40pm .   The injured have been identified as  Mariayam B of Uppala, her sister B Fathima and Fathima’s daughter Darina, who were residents of Neeleshwara.  They were said to be walking beside the railway track and failed to notice the arrival of the train.
 
The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Mangalore.  The condition of Fathima and her daughter is said to be very critical.  Locals who witnessed the gory accident helped to rush the injured to the hospital.
