Udupi, Nov 15: ‘Kanakadasa Jayanti’ was celebrated at Rajangan, Sri Krishna Mutt, on Monday November 14, under the joint aegis of Sri Krishna Mutt, district administration, zilla panchayat, Kannada and culture department, and the Kanakadasa Study and Research Institute.

In his message to the gathering, Swami Laxmivarateerta said that the devotion of Kanakadasa to Lord Krishna was proven to mankind five centuries ago after the deity appeared before his devotee through an opening in the temple wall.
