Bangalore: Second PU Examination – Provisional Dates Announced

Bangalore, Nov 16: The department of PU education has proposed the following time table for the second pre university annual examinations planned to be held during March next year. It has invited objections if any for the same.

As per the provisional time table, history will be the first examination to be conducted from 9 am to 12.15 pm on March 15, 2012. On 16 and 17, examinations for biology and business studies, and political science and basic mathematics, will be conducted respectively. March 18 will be a holiday.

On March 19, examination for the subjects, economics and geology, will be conducted. Mathematics and geography will be the subjects of examination on March 20. On 21, social science and statistics examinations will be held, while physics exam will be conducted on March 22. On the same afternoon, Carnatic music, Hindustani music, and psychology  examinations will be conducted from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.

March 23 will be a holiday on account of Ugadi. On March 24, electronics and mathematical sciences examinations will be held. March 25 will be a holiday. Examination in English will be conducted on March 26, followed by accountancy, logic and home science examinations on March 27. On March 28, examination in chemistry, optional Kannada will be conducted. Examination in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi, Arabic, and French will be held on March 29. The subjects slated for March 30 are Hindi, followed by Telugu, Urdu and Sanskrit from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.

If there any objections to the proposed dates of examination, the same may be submitted to the joint director (examinations) before November 30. Objections if any received during this period will be considered before announcing the final time table, a release said.

    Dear sir its a kind request from all the statistics students to change the date of statistics board exam as it is unconvinient to prepare for statistics and physics exam.

    Respected sir
    As per the proposed time table we are having enough time to revise all topics of all subject except Statistics and Physics. So this is the humble request from all the Science stream students that please provide us atleast 2 days gap for physics and Statistics.

    Respected sir,
    After going through the time table proposed for second PU examination, i strongly feel that there should be a gap before the physics examination as it causes difficulty for statistics students. We will be really happy if u could interchange the dates of English and Physics. ie. English to be conducted on 22nd march and physics on 26th.

    kindly make this change for the convenience of many students.

    Dear sir this is to bring to your kind self that the time table set for us has no gap for stat and physics we are aspiring to become engineers so please help us by giving gap.. if you shift statistics after our sanskrit exam it wil be helpful for us.. we can't revise whole physics in 1 day where as bio students get gap for all the subjects we want to score more plzz transfer stat exam to 2nd date of next month

    Dear sir,in the present proposed time table for puc 2 march 2012 exam there is no gap for Physics.Maths,Stat and Physics are continuous.We need 1 day gap for Physics, therefore shift stat exam aftr Sanskrit.Physics is a tough subject it is important for engineering.We need to score more pls help usproviding gap for physics

    This is to bring to your kind self that in the time table released by P.U. Examination Board, Karnataka for the forthcoming March 2012 examination there is no gap for the important subject like Physics. The dates of the examination are 20thMathematics on 21st Statistics and Physics on 22nd March 2012. As PCMS is the most common combination, many students study this combination. Many students are aspiring for Engineering and Medical courses after their P.U.C. Their scoring chances are affected due to continuous examination. Moreover, Physics is a tough subject and syllabus is vast. We can’t revise the subject even in one day. In the absence of at least one day gap for this subject many students future will be damaged. Therefore, we request your kind self to revise the examination time table such that we get good gap between the important subjects like mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For example Statistics on 21st March in the present time table if shifted to April 1st or 2nd 2012, it will solve most of our problem.

    Therefore we request your kind self to consider our plea favorably and help us by revising the time table.
