Beltangady, Dec 8: The annual feast of Sacred Heart Church, Madanthyar was celebrated on Wednesday December 7.
The concelebrated Festal Mass was presided over by Dr Aloysius Paul D’ Souza, the Bishop of Mangalore along with 35 priests from the Varado and neighboring parishes.
Bishop in his homily promoted devotion towards the Sacred Heart of Jesus and invited the faithful to draw inspiration from it. He honored all the sponsors on the occasion. He took this opportunity to bless the foundation stone of Sacred Heart High School Building and appreciated the hard work of the College and School administration.
He was happy to see the parishioners in big number and their active participation in the holy Eucharist. Finally, Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, the parish priest thanked all the people for making the day, a grand success.
