Moodbidri, Dec 14: Alva’s College bagged the ‘Late B N Colaco Memorial Trophy’ in Mangalore varsity inter-collegiate women’s ball badminton tournament held on the college campus at Vidhyagiri on Tuesday December 13.
The host Alva’s College bagged the trophy by defeating SDM College, Ujire, in the final.
Alva’s College bagged the trophy for the fifth consecutive year. Alva’s College principal Professor Kurian presided over the prize distribution ceremony. Mangalore University physical education director Dr H Nagalingappa, senior sportsman Ashok, and Dr Sukesh were the chief guests present on the occasion.
