In collaboration with the Institute of company secretaries of India (ICSI), the business administration department of the college has taken proactive steps to enhance the professional readiness of the students.

Serving as the only ICSI-accredited study centre in the region, the department actively trains students to pursue the CS course and similar professional certifications. Through its partnership with the ICSI Mangalore chapter, the department has consistently provided students with resources and guidance to excel in competitive exams.

Speaking on the occasion, the principal of the college, Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, expressed gladness in the efforts of the department to integrate innovative and career-oriented programs into the curriculum. “This achievement reflects the dedication of our faculty and the commitment of the institution to student success,” he stated.

Highlighting the vision behind these efforts, the head of the business administration department, Dr Radhakrishna Gowda, explained, “Previously, students aspiring to pursue professional courses like CS had to travel to cities like Mangalore. Understanding this challenge, we collaborated with ICSI to offer the CS course as part of our BBA programme, ensuring access to quality education for students across all economic backgrounds.”
