Mangalore: Christmas ‘Sneha Kuta’ Held

Mangalore, Dec 19: “The message of Christmas is sharing. We share the joy and peace of Christ with others,” said Fr Stany Periera, parish priest, Fajir Church, in his presidential address during the Christmas ‘Sneha Kuta’ held in Thokkottu on Saturday December 17.
 
Students of St Sebastian School and the parishioners gave the message of Christmas through tableaus and carols. Lakshman Belchada, Abdul Lathif, and Joseph Crasta were appreciated for their charitable work and were honored by Fr Periera as also 31 health workers of Ullal Corporation.



 

Chief guest MLA U T Khader, in his address said, “If Dakshina Kannada has developed, its because of Christians who live the values of Christ like love peace and unity”.
 
Fr Thomas D’ Souza, parish priest of Permannur, and Chandrahas Ullal, BJP representative, were on the dais. Fr Ajith Menezes thanked each and everyone who made this programme a successful one.
