Mangaluru: Yenepoya Dental College organizes 28th Graduation Day ceremony

Mangaluru, Dec 13: The Yenepoya Dental College organized their 28th Graduation Day ceremony recently at Yendurance Zone, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) Campus.

(Prof) Dr A Kumarswamy, renowned periodontist & implantologist from Mumbai was the chief guest. Dr Akhter Husain, former dean, professor Emeritus, deparment of orthodontics, Yenepoya Dental College was the guest of honour.

Dr Sham S Bhat, dean, faculty of dentistry, welcomed the gathering, Dr Hasan Sarfaraz, vice principal introduced the chief guest. Principal Dr Laxmikanth Chatra presided over the ceremony. The heads of all the departments were present on the dias.

The chief guest addressed the gathering and emphasized that students should be grateful to all those who have strived hard to make their path smooth till today.

The best outgoing student - gold medal for overall proficiency was awarded to Dr Sulthana Shajahan. Dr Mohammed Zahid, convener for the 28th YDC graduation ceremony proposed the vote of thanks. Dr Mallika S Shetty and Dr Supriya Amanna were the masters of ceremony for the day. A total of around 1150 people attended the programme.
