Very often in cases like this is the big guy is who picks up the tenders but he never executes the job, they hand it over to sub contractors who distributed this to their favourite people and down the line, the amount keeps becoming lesson less and the end result is pretty bad as the person who executes the job in the end really doesn't know the job at all you can see most of the public work that is done over here & there are so substandard that they don't even observe basic rules wether the road is level or not. weather it's straight or not and this is all happening in all civic works like flyovers, or on tenders given for storm water drains where the construction is awful even to look at. Absolutely no proper finish and finally absolutely no thought given to the execution of such projects. All this in a place called Mangalore, sorry Munglur smart City, but the thing is now we have so many dumb people and hardly any smart people. The terms and conditions of tenders that are freely passed to anyone should be displayed on the appropriate website for taking people's opinion and a guarantee should be obtained from all contractors executing these jobs as all this is happening without the awareness of the people who are in turn troubled by very bad projects for no fault of their.

There is no respect for people nor fear of law when it comes to public safety. Our pavements have death traps. The courts are too lenient on big fish, harsh on petty law breakers.
