Udupi, Dec 26: On the feast of the birth of Jesus Christ, Belman Church arranged a Christmas tableau in different places on Sunday December 25.

The tableau carried the message of peace, harmony and God’s love for the people.

The tableau was held at 5.30 pm in Belman Church, 6.15pm in Majarapalke and at 7.15 pm at Belman bus stand. In all three places large numbers of Catholics as well as non-Catholics gathered to watch this Christmas tableau.

The parish youths as well as others enacted the tableaux in a beautiful way on a trailer. Fr Lawrence D’Souza, parish priest, Fr Ronald Pinto, assistant parish priest,  Gregory Menezes, vice-president and Lidia Aranha, church secretary were present.

The Christmas tableau was directed and arranged by Fr Ronald Pinto.
