Media Release

Mangaluru, Jan 8: The department of clinical psychology at St Agnes Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research organized an engaging module presentation for the students of St Agnes High School and St Agnes Kannada Medium School.

The postgraduate students were divided into five groups, with each group presenting a unique and insightful topic:

  • Relationships and communication
  • Emotional changes during puberty
  • Embrace your true worth
  • Stress management
  • Emotional expression

The sessions were designed for the 8th-grade students of both schools. Due to time constraints, all five topics could not be presented at both venues.

At St Agnes High School, the topics presented included:

Relationships and communication
Emotional changes during puberty
Embrace your true worth

At the Kannada Medium School, the topics presented were:

Embrace your true worth
Stress management
Emotional expression

Each session incorporated a mix of ice-breakers, engaging information-sharing, and interactive activities tailored to the topic. Following each session, students provided feedback and shared their insights, making the sessions dynamic and reflective. The event was a fun, enriching, and educational experience for both the school students and the postgraduate students. It not only fostered learning but also created opportunities for meaningful interaction and personal growth.
