Goyal emphasised that self-redevelopment initiatives play a crucial role in securing the future of families by providing stable homes for children and future generations.
Highlighting the rapid development in North Mumbai, Goyal stated that significant infrastructure projects are underway, including:

• The sewage treatment system is being strengthened with an allocation of Rs 26,000 cr, ensuring that untreated sewage water no longer pollutes water bodies before being discharged into the ocean.
Piyush Goyal encouraged residents and stakeholders to actively participate in self-redevelopment projects and create awareness in their respective areas. He expressed confidence that these initiatives would drive growth in North Mumbai, ensuring a secure and sustainable future for its residents.
Concluding his speech, the Union Minister reiterated that the event marked a significant milestone in India's journey towards self-reliance in urban development. He reaffirmed the government's vision of making housing more accessible and sustainable, contributing to the long-term progress of Mumbai.
