Mangaluru: St Aloysius University launches ‘The Bridge’ magazine connecting creativity, education

Mangaluru, Mar 18: The department of animation & multimedia under the School of Vocational Studies, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), proudly launched its first edition of ‘The Bridge’, a magazine celebrating artistic expression, innovation, and intellectual discourse.

The launch event was held at Robert Sequeira Hall, where the magazine was officially unveiled by the vice chancellor, Dr Praveen Martis SJ, in the presence of esteemed dignitaries, faculty, and students.

‘The Bridge’, a 52-page publication, showcases the outstanding work of BVoc animation & multimedia students through artworks, articles, comics, and creative projects. The magazine serves as a platform for budding artistes and storytellers, reinforcing the department’s commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and industry-relevant skills.

The magazine was led by a dedicated team: Editor-in-chief: Aldrina AM (HOD, animation & multimedia), creative head: Chirag Nair, student editor: Alaikha, student reporter: Deepak Sivan. The launch of ‘The Bridge’ symbolizes the strong connection between creativity and education, preparing students for the dynamic world of creative production. This event marks a significant milestone for the department of animation & multimedia, setting the stage for future editions that will continue to inspire and showcase the artistic excellence of its students.
