Chennai, Mar 18: Actress Kaviya Arivumani, known for her role in the recently released film Niram Marum Ulagil, has announced that she is taking a temporary break from acting due to personal reasons.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Kaviya, who gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Mullai in the popular TV serial Pandian Stores, wrote:
"Dear All, I wanted to share something important with you. Due to certain personal circumstances, I’ve decided to take a break. Right now, I need some time for myself, away from everything."

Grateful for Support, Requests Privacy
Expressing gratitude for the love and support she has received, the actress added:
"I am beyond grateful and truly appreciate all the love and support you've given me so far – it means more than words can express. I kindly ask for privacy during this time and hope you'll understand my need for this space."
She reassured her fans that this was not a farewell from the industry but a temporary pause. “This isn't a goodbye, just a pause. Until we meet again, take care and stay kind,” she wrote.
Career Highlights and Recent Work
Kaviya Arivumani's latest film, Niram Marum Ulagil, featured her in the role of Malar, a hearing- and speech-impaired character. Directed by J B Britto, the film weaves together four distinct narratives, with a fifth story connecting them through a pivotal conversation.
Before Niram Marum Ulagil, Kaviya appeared in Miral and Ripupbury, marking her debut in films with Miral, which starred Bharath and Vani Bhojan.
While the actress has not disclosed how long her break will last, fans remain hopeful for her return to the screen soon.
