Ramesh Kanchan has upheld Congress workers' aspirations, says district Cong member Louis Lobo

Media Release

Udupi, Mar 23: By giving a tit for tat reply to former minister Pramodh Madhwaraj's speech in the Malpe protest, Ramesh Kanchan has upheld the aspirations of Congress workers and has become a ray of hope for the party. stated Louis Lobo, Udupi district Congress Committee member and social activist.

In a press remark commenting upon the incident that happened the other day at fishermen's protest in Malpe, Louis Lobo said "It is an inhumane act of tying a woman and beating her. Pramodh Madhwaraj in his anguish speech condemned the Congress party and the chief minister, the party which gave a rebirth to his political career.

"It is also sad that he even spoke against the superintendent of police and police department. But on the other hand, there is a need to appreciate the reply given by Congress leader Ramesh Kanchan to former minister in his own way," he said.

Lobo said, "Congress was in dire need of such a brave leadership and with this incident Ramesh Kanchan has stood for the aspirations of the Congress workers and has become a ray of hope for party workers."
