Mangalore: 'Zalak', Music Event For A Cause Held at Vamanjoor

Mangalore, Jan 23: A fund-raising event 'Zalak, Light of Life', organized by Help and Care Charitable Trust (R) for the aid of deprived people, was held at Vamanjoor Church Grounds, Vamanjoor, here on Sunday January 22.

As many as 900 people gathered to witness the musical evening. Among those who performed on the evening, were Milestone and body builder Roshan Ferrao and Team. Also a visually impaired school teacher by the name Kasturi sang a song on the occasion.

Also, there was a war of DJs on the musical evening. Professional DJ's like DJ Allan and DJ Shavin took part in the same. Dance performances were given by Naach Sobann.

The event was organized by Jeethan D'Cunha, Snehith Lobo, Nichshan D'Souza and Vernon D'Souza of the Help and Care Charitable Trust (R).  This was a first fund raiser the Trust organized by far. In the months to come, the Trust also intends on holding an eye donation camp in the near future.
