Mangalore, Jan 25: Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy organized 'Fresher's Day' for undergraduate and postgraduate students at Lobo River View, recently.
 
Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust secretary Dr M Ramgopal Shetty presided over the programme.

Nepal New Summit Institute chairman KulSubedi and World Future League CEO Joseph Rego were the guests of honour.
 
Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust trustees Dr Hima Urmila Shetty, Dr Ranjit Shetty, Dr Divyanjali Shetty, and Rohila Shetty were present on the dais.
 
Dr M Ramgopal Shetty highlighted the need for good physiotherapists in society and appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee for giving the new comers a chance to showcase their talent, mingle with others, and feel at home.
 
KulSubedi conveyed best wishes to the freshers and appreciated the enthusiasm of all the students.
 
Joseph Rego spoke on the opportunities that exist for physiotherapists in sports including cricket in the country.
 
Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy principal Dr S Earnest Jaco proposed the vote of thanks.
 
Students staged various entertainment programmes on the occasion.
