Infosys opens new tech fin hub at GIFT City, Gujarat

Gandhinagar, Jun 8: Infosys on Saturday inaugurated its new development centre at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), marking a key expansion in India’s premier international financial hub. The Bengaluru-based IT giant said the state-of-the-art facility will support over 1,000 employees in a hybrid working model and serve as a strategic TechFin centre delivering advanced digital solutions to global clients in banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI).

The centre will offer services spanning digital banking, capital markets, trade finance, regulatory compliance, cards and payments, and risk management. It will leverage cutting-edge technologies like AI, generative AI (GenAI), cloud, APIs, cybersecurity, and blockchain to enable seamless cross-border digital solutions.

Jayesh Sanghrajka, CFO of Infosys, said, “Setting up our development centre in GIFT City is a strategic step aligned with our vision of leading innovation in financial services from within India’s foremost international financial hub.” The centre is designed as a future-ready hybrid workplace focused on boosting productivity and collaboration, further strengthening Infosys’s global delivery capabilities in tech-enabled financial services.
