Mangaluru, Jun 13: In celebration of World Environment Day 2025, management forum department of BCom Srinivas Institute of management and commerce organized an intercollegiate online E-Quiz titled 'Eco-Smart 2025: Click Green, Think Clean!' The event aimed to foster awareness on environmental challenges, promote responsible actions among youth, and reinforce the theme of #GenerationRestoration, with a special focus on the 2025 campaign ‘Beat plastic pollution.’
The quiz was open to students, faculties, and working professionals, and included 26 Marks multiple-choice questions covering key topics such as sustainable living, biodiversity, climate change, plastic pollution, renewable energy, and global environmental policies.

Event impact:
The quiz provided a platform for participants to test their knowledge while gaining insights on pressing environmental issues. Automated scoring, fact-based feedback, and certification were part of the engaging learning experience. The event also strengthened inter-institutional academic ties and promoted a shared environmental consciousness across borders.

This initiative was conducted under the able supervision of Dr Venkatesh S Amin, dean, Institute of Management and Commerce; Prof Sharmila S Shetty, head of department BCom; Prof Yashashwi A Ail, course coordinator, ACCA; and Prof Hansel Rego, faculty coordinator – management forum and upskiller trainer.
The course was successfully executed with the consistent support of the dedicated faculty members of the BCom department, whose teamwork and commitment ensured its smooth implementation and success.
