Moodbidri, Jan 26: Riyaz (19), son of Mohammed Ibrahim from Todar village near here, working as conductor for a bus belonging to an educational institution, died after he got tossed out of the bus and suffered grave injuries. The incident occurred near Matadakere in Karkala.
Riyaz, working for a bus being run to carry students of a nursing college from Karkala to Moodbidri, accidentally lost his grip, and was thrown out of the vehicle, as the bus was negotiating a road bend then.
He sustained grievous injuries, and was brought to Moodbidri for treatment. Although he was treated immediately, he could not be saved, it is gathered.
