Mangalore: Karnataka Bank, Tata Motors Sign MOU

Mangalore, Jan 28: Karnataka Bank Ltd, one of the leading private sector banks of India has joined hands with Tata Motors Ltd, Mumbai, for financing the customers who intend to purchase commercial-passenger/goods vehicles, trucks, buses etc manufactured by the latter.

The Bank will provide hassle-free finance on easy terms to the persons availing finance under this MOU. The loans will also be available under CGTMSE Scheme and no collateral security/guarantee would be insisted for such loans.

Mahabaleshwara M S, general manager (credit-retail finance division) of Karnataka Bank Ltd and Anil Menon, HOD-retail and channel finance, Tata Motors Ltd signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in this regard at the Bank’s head office in Mangalore recently.

The Bank has over 480 branches and Tata Motors has over 3500 touch points, across India. The Bank’s assistant general manager Ravindranatha Hande, chief manager Sumana Ghate, senior manager Udayashankar, executives of Tata Motors, G N Ramana, Sanjiv Kumar and Nelson from Arvind Motors, Mangalore, were present on this occasion.
