Samsung launches 3rd ‘Walk-a-thon India’ challenge, top winners to get Galaxy Watch 8

New Delhi, Jul 28: Samsung has announced the third edition of its popular ‘Walk-a-thon India’ challenge, aiming to motivate fitness enthusiasts across the country to get moving. The month-long campaign will run from August 1 to August 30 and is open exclusively to users of Samsung Galaxy devices in India through the Samsung Health app.

In this edition, participants are required to complete 2 lakh steps within 30 days to qualify for exciting rewards. While everyone who successfully finishes the challenge will receive assured discount coupons, three lucky winners will walk away with the brand-new Galaxy Watch 8.

To participate, Galaxy users must:

1. Open the Samsung Health app and go to the Together section.
2. Tap the banner for the ‘Walk-a-thon India’ challenge and opt in.
3. Accumulate at least 2 lakh steps during the 30-day period.
4. Take a screenshot of the completed step count and post it on the Samsung Members app using the hashtag #WalkathonIndia.

All qualifying participants will receive discount coupons worth up to Rs 15,000 on the Galaxy Watch 8. The lucky draw winners will be announced later, and rewards can be claimed via the Samsung Members app between September 5 and September 30.

Samsung noted that the previous two editions of the challenge, held in January and April this year, drew tremendous response from Galaxy users nationwide. The first edition saw over 1 lakh registrations, while the second edition offered the Galaxy Watch Ultra as the grand prize.

With the latest Walk-a-thon, Samsung continues to blend health and tech, turning simple steps into exciting rewards.
