Udupi: Swami Vishwavallabateerta Offers ‘Puja’ to Mark ‘Madhwa Navami’

Udupi, Feb 2: On the occasion of ‘Madhwa Navami’, Swami Vishwavallabateerta of Sodhe Mutt offered ‘puja’ to Madhwacharya and took the Holy Scriptures placed in a golden chariot in a procession through Car Street on Wednesday February 1.

Swami Vidhyasagarateerta of Krishnapura Mutt was present on the occasion.


Swami Vishwavallabateerta also felicitated Vedic scholars during the stage programme held at Rajangan of Sri Krishna Mutt after the procession.  He also distributed prizes to the winners of quiz competitions held on the occasion of ‘Madhwa Navadinotsav’.

Bannanje Gopalakrishna Upadhya compered the programme.
