Bhatkal, Feb 6: The inaugural ceremony of Taluka Block Congress office was held on Sunday February 5 at 4 pm near Bhatkal Ranginkatte. The office was inaugurated by RV Deshpande, former Congress KPC president.
Addressing the gathering, he said, “Congress can take social justice. A Congress worker is a friend to the poor people.” He later discussed about government schemes. He said that if any free government schemes are available, then Congress workers should help the common man with such facilities.”
MLA JD Naik presided over the inaugural function. Rama Moger, Damodar Gardiker, L S naik, Sadique Asarmatta among others were present. Vittal Naik compered and proposed the vote of thanks.
