Udupi: MIM to Host ‘Kurukshetra–2012’ on Feb 10, 11

Udupi, Feb 9: Manipal Institute of Management (MIM) will organize ‘Kurukshetra – 2012’ Fest here on Friday February 10 and Saturday February 11.
This is an all-encompassing management fest that enables students from reputed B-schools to compete and showcase their talent and emerge victorious.

More than 20 colleges are attending this national-level management fest form different states to showcase their knowledge as well as skill, intellect, emotional courage, and intelligence.
 
The event is designed as a blend of ancient and modern warfare.  Modern warfare always highlights strategies, intelligence, and courage to fight the odds at the corporate level.

The events are: ‘Parthasarathi’ – best CEO, ‘Yakshaprashne’ – business quiz, ‘Chaduranga’ – business plan, ‘Gandeevam’ – finance event, ‘Yudhabhoomi’ – IT event, ‘Mahamantra’ – marketing event, ‘Sandhaana’ – HR event, ‘Chakravyuh’ – off-roadies, and ‘Kalakshetra’ – cultural event.

The inaugural of the fest will be held at MIT library auditorium, Manipal, at 9.30 am on Friday.
TVS Automobile Solutions Limited HR-head Shashikanth Jayaraman will be the chief guest on the occasion.

Manipal Institute of Technology director Dr Kumkum Garg will be the guest of honour.
The valedictory function of the Fest will be held at the Innovation Block of MIT campus at 7.00 pm on Saturday. Panama Corporation Limited CEO Vivek Raj, the main sponsor of the fest, will be the chief guest at the valedictory function.
