Tripartite MoU signed to boost research between St Aloysius, Father Muller, and Christ University

Mangaluru, Sep 20: In a significant step towards strengthening academic and research collaboration, St Aloysius Deemed to be University, Mangaluru, Father Muller Medical College, Mangaluru, and Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, entered into a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 19.

The MoU was formally signed by Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, director of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, Dr Kiran Cotha SJ, director of AIMIT, St Aloysius Deemed to be University, and the Christ University team headed by Dr Rajesh, distinguished professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Christ University.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by eminent academicians and administrators including Dr Ramesh Bhat, head of research, Father Muller Medical College; Dr S Ruban, dean, School of Engineering, St Aloysius Deemed to be University; Dr Roshan D’Souza, chair of International Relations, St Aloysius Deemed to be University; and faculty representatives from Christ University, Dr Kavitha R and Dr Sivakumar R.

This collaboration aims to foster interdisciplinary research, promote faculty and student exchange, and encourage joint projects in the fields of healthcare, engineering, and data science. The MoU is expected to open new avenues for innovative research, leveraging the strengths of each partner institution to address emerging societal and scientific challenges.

The historic partnership underscores the commitment of the three leading institutions to advancing knowledge, nurturing academic excellence, and contributing meaningfully to the global research community.
