Udupi, Sep 20: Silas PU College organised a comprehensive training session focused on September 17. This session aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills to handle emergencies effectively.

The training was conducted by Sathyaraj, a professional fire and safety officer from Mangaluru. Sathyaraj, with his extensive experience in fire safety and disaster management, provided valuable insights and practical information to the attendees.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Naveen S A and Prabha Nagaraj served as the MC for the event. Naveen extended a warm welcome to Sathyaraj and the participants highlighting the importance of the training.

Sathyaraj led the session with a detailed presentation on fire safety protocols, health safety measures, and disaster management strategies.

He also talked on the importance of fire drills, and the use of fire extinguishers.
