Mumbai, Sep 27: The Indian Bunts Chamber of Commerce and Industries (IBCCI) has entered into a technology partnership with Mysuru-based Scanray Technologies Incubation Center for Advanced Technology. IBCCI executive president K C Shetty (Kutpadi Chandra Shetty) expressed his delight over this collaboration.
He said the partnership would provide a unique platform for Bunt youth to transform their creative ideas into successful ventures. “This initiative will not only encourage them to seek employment but also empower them to become job creators and entrepreneurs,” he remarked.

Scanray Incubation Center
Located in Mysuru, the center is fully equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, tools, and facilities. It offers free office space, meals, and mentorship for startup teams. The Lahari Advanced Electronics Test Facility, certified by NAMKO, is authorized to provide product certification for over 150 countries. The center has dedicated mentors and business support teams covering finance, legal, secretarial, banking, and PE/VC networks. There is no equity or cost involved, only a commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship.
The incubation agreement is renewable annually for up to five years, based on progress and adherence to values.
Eligibility criteria
Teams must have at least five full-time members with technical education. Preference will be given to startups with concepts or prototypes in focus areas such as electronics, electrical, mechanical, imaging, and real-time software and hardware. Full-time commitment is mandatory, and part-time or remote projects will not be entertained.
Pay-it-forward model
Successful startups are expected to mentor and support five new startups in the future, thereby fostering a cycle of growth and entrepreneurship within the community.
