Mangalore: Vatican Representative Arrives for Post-centenary Silver Jubilee of Diocese

Mangalore, Feb 11: Representative of Vatican, Dr Savio Hon Tai-fai, arrived in the city on Saturday February 11 for attending the post centenary silver jubilee celebrations of Mangalore Diocese, slated to be organized today and tomorrow.

On his arrival, he was accorded a warm welcome at Bishop’s house here. Bishop of the local diocese, Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Archbishop of Bangalore, Bernard Moras, and others were present on the occasion.

    I am glad that His Excellency Archbishop Savio Hon Tai-fa, Secretary of the Congregation for Evangelization of Peoples and Representative of the Holy See is in Mangalore for the Post Centenary celebrations. I wish God's abundant blessings on the Bishop, clergy, relgious - men and women- and indeeed all the beloved faithful of the diocese of Mangalore on thsi memorable occasion.
