Mapusa, Nov 5: Following a recent assault on tourists at Romeo Lane Goa Club, DySP Wilson D’Souza held a meeting with club and restaurant owners at the DySP Conference Hall in Mapusa, alongside Anjuna Police Station PI Suraj H. Gawas.

During the meeting, DySP D’Souza emphasized that misconduct or mistreatment of tourists will not be tolerated, warning that such incidents harm Goa’s reputation as a safe tourist destination. He instructed establishment owners to train their staff on proper conduct, noting that bouncers are responsible for conflict resolution, not assaulting patrons.

He further cautioned that strict police action will be taken against any establishment violating these directives, reaffirming Goa’s commitment to tourist safety and hospitality standards.
