Mangalore: JD(S) SC/ST Wing Launched in City

Mangalore, Feb 26: The Janatha Dal Secular SC/ST wing began its operation in the city on Sunday February 26. A formal inaugural and felicitation function was organized at the party’s district office in Kankanady.

The programme commenced with showering of flowers on Dr B R Ambedkar's photo.

Ravindra Ullal was felicitated on this occasion as he was elected as the state secretary of JD(S) SC/ST wing. Naveen Kumar Boloor a state-level kushti player and Keshava were also felicitated as they joined the party on this occasion.

Many leaders Vasanth Poojary district general secretary, M G Hegde state secretary, Ram Ganesh district secretary, Parameshwar president, district SC/ST wing, Rathnakar Suvarna president, fisheries wing, Srinivas Alva district vice-president, Shashiraj Shetty, Gopal Krishna Attavar, Rajendra Shetty and others including many party members and well-wishers were present on this occasion.

Vasanth Poojary and M G Hegde in their address explained the working procedures and developments of the party and advised the partymen to work towards winning the upcoming elections. Chinnappa Bangera secretary, SC/ST wing compered and Kanakadas proposed the vote of thanks.
