Udupi, Feb 28: To extend moral support to Boje Gowda, JD(S) candidate for the forthcoming bypoll from Udupi-Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency, at the time of filing his nomination papers on Tuesday February 28, activists of JD(S) organized a jatha here the same morning.

State JD(S) secretary, M G Hegde, district general secretary, Shashiraj Shetty, president of minorities unit, D S Aslamm president of fishermen’s unit, Ratnakar Suvarna, state secretary of scheduled classes unit, Ravindra Ullal, Jinaraj, Mani Shetty, Aziz Mallar, J Mohammed, Mohandas Bangera, Rajesh Shetty, Raghunath Pai, Khasim, and others led the jatha.
