Bhatkal: French Woman Found Dead at Gokarna Beach

Bhatkal, Feb 29: The body of a 33-year-old French woman was found dead at Gokarna beach on Tuesday February 28 morning.

The woman has been identified as Emilie Julie Patrier, and she reportedly died in her sleep.

It is said that Emilie fell asleep on the beach the previous night, but when her friend made attempts to wake her up, she recieved no response.

Emilie had been complaining of chest pain a few days earlier. Her friend suspects it to be a case of a cardiac arrest.

Emilie's family members arrived from France on Wednesday February 29. 

A case has been registered.

    One can easily get dehydrated at the beaches without even realizing and therefore, should be careful. Sad to hear a young life has been lost.
