Kundapur, Mar 2: The annual Uroos will begin at Hazrat Sayyed Yousuf Valiyullahi Darga on Wednesday February 29 and go upto Friday March 2.

‘Ziarat’, children’s cultural programme, mega community procession accompanied by traditional music, preaching, free food offerings will be part of the three-day religious celebrations at the Darga.

South India SSF president M S M Abdul Rashid Zaini, Al Khamil M A, Moulana Mufti Badruddin, Sunni Darul Ulum Mohammediya principal and renowned scholar Moulana Mufti Badruddin Misbahi, religious leaders and scholars will participate in the three-day religious celebrations.

Hazrat Sayyed Yousuf Valiyullahi was a religious scholar who arrived here from Kerala and lived about 250 years ago.  His saintly life inspired many to follow spirituality.  He reformed the community of irreligiousness and was the succor of the poor and the downtrodden.  

Thousands of people regardless of caste, creed, and religion from across the district arrive at the Darga to offer prayers every year.
