Kundapur: Two Lives Lost in Lorry-Bike Collision

Kundapur, Mar 3: Two motor bike-born youth died after their vehicle hit a lorry from behind at Arehole Cross on national highway at Navunda village in the taluk on the evening of Friday March 2.

The victims are Keshava Devadiga (26) from Halageri, who was riding the bike, and Nagaraj Uppunda (30), pillion rider. Both of them were fishermen based in Navunda.  It is learnt that they were bound for Kundapur in the two-wheeler, when misfortune struck.

The bike rider lost control over his vehicle, as a tempo suddenly deviated to the road leading to Heroor at Arehole Cross from the national highway. As a result, the bike hit a lorry laden with goods from behind.

A case was registered in Byndoor police station in this connection.
