Mangalore: Accident at Farangipet - One Killed

Mangalore, Mar 3: Maramancha Nayak (48) from Mysore, who was seriously injured after a car hit him at Faranginpet in Bantwal taluk, breathed his last on the evening of Friday March 2. He had been admitted into the government Wenlock Hospital here.

Nayak was walking with his colleague, Ramesh (30), a native of Pudu village, when a Maruti car hit them. While Nayak had suffered grave injuries, Ramesh’s injuries were not very serious. Ramesh, who was admitted into a private hospital in the city, is recovering.

It is said that Nayak worked for a hotellier, and Ramesh also works for the same concern.
