Moodbidri, Mar 8: A degree student of a local college accidentally fell from a multi-storied hostel building and lost his life on Wednesday March 7 afternoon. The victim has been identified as Indu Kumar (21) from Kodihalli in Malur, Kolar district.
Kumar was a final year BHRD degree student. Before attending the afternoon classes, he was sitting and resting on the protective wall at the verandah outside his room in the fourth floor of City Light building, when he accidentally lost his balance and fell down.
His fatal fall happened in the narrow gap between two hostel buildings. He was immediately taken to a private hospital, but his end came before he could be attended by doctors, it is learnt.
