Mangalore: ‘BIG Lady RJ for a day’ Held for 14 Ladies by 92.7 BIG FM

Mangalore, Mar 8: As part of International Women’s Day, 92.7 BIG FM organized ‘BIG lady RJ for a day’ for selected ladies of the city. As many as 14 ladies were selected from all age groups through SMS registration.

“The event was organized to make every woman feel special on this day. Every woman has a dream of being on air and reach out to people. So 92.7 BIG FM Mangalore provided this platform for the selected women to be on air and express herself the way she wants. On this particular day all the male RJ’s will be taking a break for the day” opined Vishwas Kamath, programming head and RJ of 92.7 BIG FM.

Speaking further about the initiatives of BIG FM he said, the station has some more plans to execute more events in Mangalore which makes the city special to go with the theme of BIG FM ‘suno sunao, life banao’.

The newly elected deputy mayor Amitha Kala felicitated all the participants with gift vouchers and conveyed her wishes to the participants for women’s day. She too lent her voice as a lady RJ for the day. Group sales account manager of 92.7 BIG FM Sarfaraz welcomed the deputy mayor. RJ Varsha congratulated the participants with roses.

House maker Latha R Murthy from Kunjathbail, one among the participant was extremely happy to be on air. “Though I was little nervous, this opportunity by 92.7 BIG FM gave me a platform to communicate with people through its initiative on this very special day. I would be extremely happy and proud if they give me such opportunities more often.”

92.7 BIG FM station head Jagadish and team BIG FM were present on the occasion.

All the women RJs were gratified by V Hyper Mart, K S Rao Road and Guttu Fine Dine family restaurant, Falnir.
