Mumbai, May 1: In a major crackdown, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has busted an international drug trafficking network, seizing 349 kg of high-grade cocaine worth Rs 1,745 crore in Mumbai.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah shared details of the operation, asserting the government’s commitment to eliminating narcotics networks. “We are resolved to ruthlessly crush the narcotics cartel,” he said in a post on X.

Shah described the operation as a “trailblazing” example of a bottom-to-top investigative approach, where authorities tracked a smaller consignment to uncover and dismantle a larger international network.

He also congratulated the NCB team for the major success, calling it a significant step in the fight against drug trafficking.
