Udupi: Congress Workers Celebrate J P Hegde's Victory with Motor Rally

Udupi, Mar 22: Congress party workers held a motor rally to celebrate the victory of Congress candidate Jayaprakash Hegde in the Lok Sabha bypoll here on Thursday March 22.
 
The motor rally began from Mogaveera Sabhagraha, Malpe, and passed through Karavali Bypass Road, Bannanje, Brahmagiri, Kinnimulki, Jodukatte, service bus stand, city bus stand, Manipal, and concluded at Perampalli.

Thousands of party activists mounted on two-wheelers, tempos and cars participated in the motor rally.

Loud music accompanied by dancing marked the rally. People of all ages took part, including youngsters and women.

Kundapur, Mar 22: Thousands of Congress partymen joined the victory procession of Congress candidate Jayaprakash Hegde on Wednesday March 21.

Udupi district Congress president K Gopal Poojary, local Congress leaders Shyamala Bhandary, Devaki Sannayya, and Jacob D'Souza were present.
 
Congress activists distributed sweets to people in different wards and burst crackers and staged a motor cycle rally to celebrate the victory of Congress in Udupi-Chikmagalur bypoll.

The victory has indeed rejuvenated the popularity of Congress in the coastal district and Chikmagalur district

    All is not lost for the coastal district and Karnataka looted and destroyed by BJP, Yeddi and the Reddi gang... There is still hope and people are finally waking up. Hope they remain alert and see through the machinations of the communal BJP gang.
