Mangalore, Mar 24: Annual Day Celebration of Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Kenjar was held here on Saturday March 24, at Loyola Hall, St Aloysius College.

Chief guest of the programme, Dr S A Kori, registrar of Visvesaraya Technological University, Belgaum, said, “Teachers should motivate the students to be creative and innovative in academics and research, which will make India as a super power in the years to come”.

On this occasion he was felicitated in recognition of his significant contribution and in appreciation of his achievements in the field of technology.

Founder and president of A Shama Rao Foundation and Srinivas Group of Colleges, A Raghavendra Rao presided over the function. Principal of the college Dr K E Prakash presented the annual report.

Chairman of Shree Devi Education Trust, A Sadananda Shetty, vice-chairman, Nidhish Shetty, secretary Maina Shetty, Priyanka Shetty, Jagadish and B R Samaga were present.

Students presented a cultural programme following the function.
