Udupi, Mar 27: “The sustenance of national culture lies with women. If the mothers imbibe Tulu culture in their children, it will flourish in the state and national culture will thrive,” said Swami Esha Vittaladas of Kemaru–Sandhipani Sadanashram.

He was speaking at the valedictory function of ‘Kadala Parba’ organized by Karavali Youth and Women’s Club, Hejamady, on Sunday March 25.

The Swami urged the people to sustain the Tulu cultural hierarchy regardless of caste, creed, and religion.

ZP member Geethanjali Suvarna presided over the programme.

Mangalore Mayor Gulzar Bano, Dr Y N Shetty, Yedapadav Shastavu Bhootanateshwar temple managing trustee Vijayanat Vittal Shetty, Hanuman Motors managing director Vilas Nayak, Kadala Parba committee honorary president Dayanand Hejamady, president Dinesh Suvarna, and Prakash Shetty Padebettu were present on the occasion.
