Udupi: One Killed, Two Injured in Bike-Car Collision

Udupi, Mar 27: A youth was killed on the spot here on Tuesday March 27 when a car rammed into his bike at railway bridge, Indrali near MGM College, Kunjibettu.

The deceased has been identified as Chetan (24), a resident of Malpe.

His companion, identified as Nagaraj who was riding pillion sustained injuries. His condition is said to be critical.

Nagaraj has been admitted to KMC hospital in Manipal.

The car driver was also injured, sources said, but his identity is yet to be ascertained.

Town police have registered a case.

    V D'Souza, Kanajar/UK: What we should do to avoid such accident? Why cant you do that work? If you are in UK thatdoesn't mean that u are born and brought up in UK. You are also the citizen of india. so why cant you do that? We are localreaders, so why cant you show us the path to avoid such accidents.

    Mr.Harsha...please visit Indrali,Laxmindra Nagar,Vibhuda Priya Nagar..You will accept that there are more beautiful places and wonderful roads in other parts also. Delhi was beautiful and safe..but NOT NOW.
