Mangalore: Fire Engulfs House in Krishnapura

Mangalore, Mar 29: A house in seventh block of Krishnapura, near Surathkal, caught fire at around 2 am on Thursday March 29. Families of Sayed Hussein, Abdul Zaleel and Subrahmanya were jointly staying in the house for rent.
 
Though short circuit is said to be the reason for fire, an investigation is yet to reveal the cause. Sources from Suratkal police station said that gold and other ornaments are also gutted in the fire. Fire squad from Kadri rushed to the spot, however, the damage was done as the whole house was left charred.
 
It is said that the loss incurred is around Rs 1.5 lac.

A case is yet be registered in Suratkal police station.
