Mangalore: Retired Police Officer Hit by Auto Rickshaw

Mangalore, Mar 31: A retired police officer, was injured in an accident on Saturday March 31 morning. The accident occured near RTO circle here.

Shekhar, who retired as police officer a month ago, was hit by an auto rickshaw while  on his morning walk.

He sustained injuries on his head, hands and legs, and was immediately shifted to hospital.

Shekhar was serving in city police commissioner's officer before he retired.

Pandeshwar police have registered a case.
