Mumbai, Nov 2: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who celebrates his 61st birthday on Monday, has built a business empire extending well beyond films and brand endorsements. His investments span film production, visual effects, cricket franchises, real estate and the entertainment sector.

According to the Hurun India Rich List 2026, Shah Rukh Khan's estimated net worth stands at around Rs 10,000 crore, making him the wealthiest actor on the list. The estimate, however, marks a decline from the Rs 12,490 crore attributed to him in the 2025 edition.

A significant part of his wealth comes from business ventures, including his production company Red Chillies Entertainment and Knight Riders Sports, which manages his cricket franchise investments.

Among his most recognisable assets is Mannat, his sea-facing bungalow in Mumbai's Bandra neighbourhood. Shah Rukh reportedly purchased the property in 2001 for around Rs 18 crore. Its estimated value has since risen to approximately Rs 300 crore. The residence is currently undergoing renovation.

His overseas property portfolio reportedly includes a luxury villa on Dubai's Palm Jumeirah and an apartment in London's Park Lane. He also owns a farmhouse in Alibaug near Mumbai, spread across nearly 20,000 square metres and estimated to be worth around Rs 15 crore.

The actor is also known for his collection of luxury cars. According to reports, his garage includes a Bugatti Veyron estimated at around Rs 12 crore and a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe reportedly valued at Rs 9.6 crore. Other vehicles in the collection include a Bentley Continental GT, BMW i8, BMW 7 Series, Audi A6 and Mercedes-Benz S-Class and GLE models.

Shah Rukh's business interests also extend to professional cricket. He co-owns the Kolkata Knight Riders Indian Premier League franchise with actress Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta. The franchise is among his most prominent investments in the sporting world.

Founded in 2002 by Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri Khan, Red Chillies Entertainment has produced several successful Hindi films. Its visual effects division, Red Chillies VFX, specialises in computer-generated imagery, post-production and special effects. The studio has worked on major projects, including Ra.One, Zero and Jawan.

His business portfolio also includes an investment in KidZania India, an edutainment venture that combines learning with interactive activities for children. Reports have stated that Red Chillies Entertainment holds a 26 per cent stake in the venture.

From cinema and cricket to luxury real estate and entertainment businesses, Shah Rukh Khan's investments reflect the expansion of his career into a diverse business portfolio over the years.
