Udupi, May 14: ‘Praya Aivathu – Yentha Gammathu’, a Kannada book written by late T S Ambuja, was released at a function “T S Ambuja – Ondu Nenapu” at the Nutana Ravindra Mantapa at MGM College campus, here on Saturday, May 12.
The director of Govinda Pai Research Centre, H Krishna Bhat said the book was ready for release before the death of T S Ambuja but it was postponed because of some procedural issues. Senior writer Lakshminarayana Alva released the book. Karthyayani Kunjubettu (poet /singer) reviewed Ambuja's works on the new book at the function, writer Jyoti Mahadevan Manipal, spoke about her lifetime work and remembered the writer.
Shantharam Padhekalu congratulated Kannada litterateur Yerya Lakshminarayana Alva who was given doctorate from Mangalore University recently.
