Mangalore, May 15: The government college education department organized a job placement drive here at the premises of Government First Grade College of Car Street, on Tuesday, May 15.
Yogish Bhat, deputy speaker, Karnataka Assembly speaking after the inauguration said that the students must strive to work on their potentials so that they could get better opportunities for employment.
He stressed the importance of earning and learning during the academic years.
IT, insurance, automobile, marketing and even the local retail companies offered recruitment for the aspirants. As many as 1,000 job aspirants of DK, Udupi and surrounding places took part in the placement drive.
